SOLIDitech runs an annual Wellness Month every October, designed to nurture both physical and mental health across its global teams. The company’s goal is to encourage creative outlets as part of its wellness programme - promoting balance, connection and curiosity in a high-performance culture.
Title: Journalling for Wellness and Creativity.
Duration: 90 minutes (online via Microsoft Teams).
Participants: 47 staff across multiple countries.
Pre-session: Participants received a brief reading pack on free writing and creative journalling to introduce the neuroscience of flow and prepare them for the exercises.
Objective: To introduce journalling as a practical, accessible method for reducing stress, fostering creativity and encouraging emotional well-being within a professional context.

The session introduced journalling as both a wellness practice and a professional skill — a bridge between creativity and performance. Even in a fully remote setting, it created a collective moment of pause and reflection across global teams.
Although participants could only engage via chat, the energy was reflective, engaged and curious. Dawn’s facilitation style combined intellectual depth with warmth, creating a calm and psychologically safe environment.
The course offered insights and benefits that:
“Our staff thoroughly enjoyed the workshop, and we can clearly see the value that creative writing adds to mental health. The entire process, from initial contact and setting up meetings to the workshop itself, was seamless.”— Soliditech HR Team
Individual feedback highlighted appreciation for the balance between science and creativity, as well as for the emotional grounding provided by Dawn’s facilitation.

“We write because language is the way we keep a hold on life.”
