Stephanie Safari was born in 1969 in Kwa-Zulu Natal. After studying psychology and law, Stephanie decided her temperament was better suited to advertising. She worked in the UK for many years, at some of London’s top agencies. She lives in Cape Town, raising four children and consulting; she has a passion for training. Writing is her way of making sense of the past whilst navigating the present, determined that the inherited unspoken does not blight the psyches of her children. She believes we heal by drawing on inner-resources, a capacity for exploring joy and an exuberant imagination – this to create a life that, while not perfect, is courageously lived. Contributing author to the Life Righting Collective’s This is how it is anthology.
