“It was a great way to learn to use my emotions and describe them better. It was fun learning how to write from a place of hurt/loss without it being traumatic. I didn't realise how much I had to say or write about.”

“I have started writing again. The safe and holding space with only writing to do, was very beneficial to me. Clear prompts, examples of other writing, no pressure to read what I had written and the kind facilitation made me feel deeply relaxed and confident.I enjoyed hearing others writing and being given the space to read what I had written. J It was all amazing and clearly built on deep experience.Giles was brilliant! Deeply experienced, animated, kind, attentive and holding. Alice was also brilliant and shared her wisdom well and appropriately and linked it well to the topic. Thanks both. Deep bows of gratitude.”

“The base of food to inspire writing and the way it revealed so many other deeper relationship connections. The writing exercises, the shared food. The peaceful setting at Giles' home was also a plus. I haven't written this much in a long time!”“Very generative, unlocked a wealth of potential related ideas to explore in future writing.”

“I am still blown away at how writing about food brought to life so many beautiful, funny and painful memories. I also enjoyed the setting and listening to other participant's stories which gave me insight into their lives as well.”“I loved how gently curated the space was, that it was controlled and yet allowed for spontaneous conversations and feedback that further enriched the space. It was a brilliant balance. Although the time assigned to write seemed short, I think it worked perfectly because it silenced the inner critic and in doing so, I heard some superb, honest pieces read out during the day.”
