Is the love letter dead? We say Nay! Not! No! In fact, one of us got a first date through the judicious application of a love letter and a pot of home-made pesto just last year. Others write every day to work out what love is.
We can also attest to the power of love poetry – like Sappho, Catullus, Shakespeare, Keats, Wilde, Lorde, Jay Z and Beyonce, to name a very few. Because, of course, odes to coy mistresses and sonnets to dark ladies have become today’s total eclipses of the crazy-in-love heart.
Although we can’t promise your words of love will hit their arrowed target or top the charts, we can promise a taste of the sort of letters, poems and love songs that have made knees tremble, hearts leap and temperatures soar (remember Hot Love?). But we’re with Whitney on the greatest love of all – so you will be writing love letters to yourself, for sure. Because any relationship starts within before it can be expressed without.
The Life Righting Collective believes that creativity is your birth-right and that, within all of us, there is an authentic, sexy, lovable you – right there for the writing. And that crafting those words can be a healing process.

Facilitators deserve to be paid and course participants deserve to attend personal development courses which recognise the multiple realities of economic access and privilege.
Fee option 1 is a reduced rate for those whose budget genuinely cannot accommodate option 2.
Fee option 2 represents the fair and true cost of the course.
Fee option 3 is for those who are able to pay for themselves and pay extra towards making it possible for another person to attend a LRC writing course at a nominal rate.
