"As I journeyed through the weeks, riding the train of learning, I got to experience the different ways of writing to express myself and my life. I experienced destinations of self-expression, scary yet exciting, unexpected tunnels which helped me get out of my comfort zone. The horizons helped me expand my writing skills and think outside the box, while encouraging me that there is not only one track to take. If I hit a brick wall, I can let it stop me or I can choose an alternative route.
Dawn is absolutely awe inspiring. I really loved being a part of the course, interacting with different people and listening to their writing. The published readings Dawn selected were well thought out and presented. Absolutely amazing course. I was so nervous in the beginning and the thought of reading my work was terrifying. However, the feedback and support I received was so amazing I was brave enough to read more of my work. Thank you for such an amazing journey and experience. I am so sad it is over. My Sundays are going to fill so empty without my Memoir Course to look forward to and be a part of."

"I enjoyed interacting with other course participants and the Zoom platform made it possible to connect with people in different places.
I enjoyed the prompts and also the guidance of the facilitators - Giles and Linda complement each other really well when it comes to different voices."

"What I found really beneficial from the course was the creativity and space to really just be open and write about whatever comes up without expectation. The course really benefitted me personally and gave me confidence the continue writing and expressing. I really like the embodying moments before the writing and the writing."

"It helped to motivate me to consider writing from another's perspective, which can be invaluable for developing empathy. I enjoyed the opportunity and the framing to write different stories. I felt very inspired to continue my writing outside of the workshop."
