BIO – LEONORA LEWIS

leonora lewis e1534783753151 150x150 1

My name is Leonora Lewis. I have always written my thoughts on paper, yet it never occurred to me it was poetry until i was challenged to write a poem by my online friend 3 years ago. The first poem was about our friendship. When she encouraged me to write about my daily struggles in life, i wrote “I wish i were dead” which was chosen for publishing as the editors’ choice for the June 2017 edition in the American Poetry Journals. That poem has since been chosen for numerous journals in US and the UK. My 2nd poem called “Punishment” was published this year in the same journal and has also done well.
